Landscapes for Living... in fun and ease-full projects.
Landscape Architecture was my first profession. (I am working on my third...) University of Oregon gave me a professional five-year degree a few decades ago, and I practiced in several firms in San Francisco Area and the Southwestern prairie states for a decade and a half. There, I specialized in large scale commercial projects, water features and wildflowers. I was licensed in five Northwest, and Southwestern states (but no longer hold those state licenses). My day job as a hospice chaplain has me pretty busy with the other end of the life cycle but my day is flexible. Call me.
I look forward to speaking with you to see if we are a fit for a fun and ease-full project, together.

Collaborative atmosphere - the co-creative process of residential design and construction...
I will meet with you to create a design that will suit and delight you, your needs and those of your family, We will work together on preliminaries, iterate scenarios, and finalize garden, structures, and ornament to suit. I will then create construction drawings, with which you will be able to get competitive bids from reputable contractors. I will also be there to support you and the construction process for the usual on-site issues that will always come up when we build.
I work with people on their residences or selected NFP organizations. I charge for initial meetings, which will credit to contract when we proceed with the design. My fees are generally 10 to 15% of construction costs but will vary.
